Zitat:Word is leaking out that actress Sandra Oh of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" has joined the picket lines and the cast and crew may not be able to complete production on episode #11. Show runner Shonda Rhimes has already walked out altering her earlier decision to stay on board and help produce the already written scripts. 13 scripts have been written, but only 10 episodes have been filmed. The studio was hoping to complete production on episode #11 this week. Episodes 12 and 13 will not be filmed until the strike is resolved.

ABC has scheduled the first part of the "Crash Into Me" episode (#9) (Seth Green guest stars) for November 22. Instead of airing the second part of that episode (#10) the following week, ABC is expected to repeat the season premiere on November 29. Episode #10 would then air on December 6 and beyond that point the show would go into repeats. In any event, there will be no new episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" after Christmas, unless the strike is resolved quickly.

Also throwing their support behind the writers is the Grey's Anatomy trifecta of Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh and T.R. Knight. They took to the picket line Wednesday afternoon at Los Angeles' Prospect Studios, where their dramedy is filmed. Series creator and writer Shonda Rhimes has already stated that she has stopped writing new episodes and is refusing to edit those that have already been shot.

"I absolutely believed that I would edit our episode until a thought hit me: How can I walk a picket line and then continue to essentially work?" she wrote in an industry-circulated email. "How am I supposed to look at myself in the mirror...and know that I did not have the courage of my convictions to stand up and put myself more at risk than anyone else?"

sdkljfhsdfkj gerade kam auf MTV ein Beitrag zu dem writers streik und McDreamy und McSteamy etc wurden beim streiken gezeigt. die cappies waren voll süß :laugh: und McSteamy schafft es echt sogar beim streiken heiß auszusehen lol
