Scene 21 - Day 2 - Wall Street Journal Office - KIMBERLY WELLS sits at her desk. Rory thanks her for taking the call and starts to say the reason she's calling. Kimberly says it's something to do with her Huntzberger interview, right? Rory says yes. Bill comes up to Rory in the newsroom. Rory says she's calling to request a correction to everything Mitchum said about her. Kimberly says she's looking at the piece and he didn't say much about Rory. Rory says that's the thing, he didn't use many words, but he said a lot. Kimberly reads the excerpt from the article that says Mitchum gave Rory her first internship at the Stamford paper and now she's editor of the Yale Daily News. Kimberly asks which part is wrong. Rory says technically none of it is wrong but it's all a lie. Kimberly questions the facts and Rory confirms them, but says it's the impresison he left. Rory says he didn't give her her start. Bill leans over and is listening to the headpiece with Rory. HE tells her to tell Kimberly that if a correction isn't appropriate maybe a clarification is. Rory says that's dumb and Bill says it doesn't hurt to ask. Rory goes back to Kimberly and says the thing is that Mitchum is depicting her as a feather in his cap and she isn't a feather. Kimberly says that they don'y print corrections on impressions. Rory asks if that's even when the impression is misleading and Kimberly says that again that's an impression. Rory says she sees... then asks about a clarification. Kimberly says they don't do those either. She says he needs to run. Rory says it's going to bug her forever that he put this thing out. Kimberly says that's showboz. Rory sighs and says she's right and she guesses it's going to be in people's recycling bins by tonight and forgotten. Kimberly says she actually hopes that the stuff she works so hard on isn't forgotten the next day. Rory backtrakcks and says her too, "back at you, sister." Rory thanks her for her time, Bill and Rory say something and then Kimberly says goodbye and they hang up. Rory shoots Bill a dirty look and he slinks away. Rory still looks made about the whole thing.

Scene 22 - Day 2 - Luke's Diner - Liz is at a couple of tables with some friends, a couple of them pregnant, including DARLENE. The women are complaining about their husbands and commiserating. Liz looks unhappy for a different reason but still tries to be part of the group. Luke enters and takes in the scene. Liz joins Luke, away from the group. *missing page* Liz says "If he'll forgive me" and Luke points outside where T.J. is standing by the truck. Liz is happy to see him. Luke says he was afraid to come in and they talk about his lack of a jacket. Luke says T.J. needs her and she needs him so she should go to him and go home. Liz thanks Luke and hugs him. Darlene calls out bitterly asking where Liz is going. Liz happily says her man is here. After Liz exits Darlene makes a remark frull of disdain. Luks asks if there's antyhing he can get the ladies, some compassion or perspective? They just stare at him. Luke looks outside and sees T.J and Liz reuniting lovingly then walking off.

Scene 23 -

Scene 24 - ...Emily starts to gather her things. Lorelai remarks that they're at a real estate office and asks why they're there. Emily just asks if she's coming and tells her not to forget to lock the car, she's leaving her bananas there. Emily gets out of the car and Lorelai asks why she's coming with Emily to a real estate office then quickly gets out of the car.

Scene 25 - Day 2 - Real Estate Office - Emily and Lorelai enter the office and Emily goes to the receptionist desk and starts to introduce herself. A woman, MAUREEN, comes over. Emily says she's sorry they're late. She had an awful surgery and today has been a nightmare. Maureen says she hopes Emily is feeling all right. Lorelai says something. Emily introduces Lorelai saying she (Lorelai) gets headaches that tend to make her babble. Maureen offers Lorelai some apsirin. Lorelai says she's fine. Maureen leads them to another area where a presentation is ready. Emily asks how Maureen's twins are. Lorelai tries to ask Emily what presentation they're looking at. Easels are set up with large pictures of a pretty house like Lorelai's but bigger and with more property. Maureen says she talked to the owner and he'd be willing to throw in any of the furniture or appliances she wanted. Emily says that's wonderful and Lorelai asks why it's wonderful. Emily lets out a "Lorelai..." and asks Maureen to continue. Maureen says the pictures are pretty complete but she can get Emily in this weekend if she wants a closer look. Lorelai asks if Emily wants a closer look. Does she? Maureen goes on to say that this is only the second time the house has been on the market in 100 years and lists the rooms and ground features. She says it's a pretty special property and Emily agrees. Emily asks if Lorelai thinks so too and then asks if she's breathing. Lorelai desperately asks why Emily is looking at this house. Emily asks Maureen if she can excuse them for a minute. Emily asks what Lorelai thinks and Lorelai says Emily has to tell her what's going on. Emily says she'll tell her as soon as Lorelai tells her what she thinks of the house. Lorelai says she's thinks it's fine. "Fine?" Emily questions...

Nurse #3 tells her - "You better take this. It's about Logan Huntzberger."

Stage Direction: Doctor Joyce takes the phone.

Doctor Joyce starts talking on the phone - "This is Doctor Joyce.... Yes, that's correct.... Well, no, of course not... But that's not even... Well, yes, but certainly you wouldn't... I see.... "Then, quickly and quietly into the phone "Fine. Look, he was bleeding internally and the oxygen levels in his blood were dangerously high... he was also running a fever of a hundred and four so we put him on high doses of intravenous antibiotics... A partially-collapsed lung, six broken ribs, a broken ankle, torn cartilage in both knees and a severe concussion... Absolutely. A full recovery....Good-bye."

Interior Hospital Hallway / Nurses' Station - Day (Day 1) Scene 2 -

Stage Direction: Rory enters, anxious, having just arrived. She approached the nurses' station where Nurse 31 is on the phone.

Rory anxious - "Excuse me, I'm looking for Logan Huntzberger. He's--"

Stage Direction: The nurse indicates that she is on the phone and for Rory to wait. Impatient to see Logan, Rory sees Nurse #2 who is passing by and approaches here.

Rory tries again - "Excuse me, could you tell me where Logan---"

Nurse #2 tells her - "Sorry, this isn't my floor."

Stage Direction: The nurse walks on. Rory looks around and doesn't see anyone eager to help her.

Rory loudly - "Excuse me, can anyone here help me find Logan Huntzberger?!"

Stage Direction: Nurse #3, sitting with her back to Rory at the Nurse station, looks up from her paperwork.

Nurse #3 tells Rory - "He was just transferred out of the ICU." Indicating around the corner. "Room 113."

Rory asks her - "How is he?"

Nurse #3 checks - "Are you family?"

Rory explains - "I'm his girlfriend."

Nurse#3 tries to be helpful - "All I can tell you is that he's not conscious right now, and that he's in serious-but-stable condition."

Rory a little scared - "What does that mean, serious-but-stable?"

Nurse #3 continues - "Just what it says."

Rory is working herself up - "But is it more serious or more stable? Which was is it leaning?"

Nurse #3 running short - "I'm sorry, I can only release more information to family members."

Rory tries explaining again - "But I'm his girlfriend. We've been together a long time. It's not a casual thing. We live together."

Nurse #3 ends things with - "Sorry."

Stage Direction: Frustrated, Rory rounds the corner and heads down the hallway toward Logan's room. She spots Colin and Finn and heads toward them. They are their usual flip selves - definitely not what Rory's in the mood for.

Rory quickly - "How is he? Is he okay?"

Finn quips - "Scuttlebutt is he's not dead."

Colin chimes in - "The man is indestructible."

Finn explains - "Dives headfirst off the cliff of Caldera. Instantly spins out of control."

Colin continues - "Gets totally disoriented, barely gets his chute open."

Stage Direction: Rory enters and finds Logan, in bed, unconscious. He looks pretty bad. He's bandaged, bruised, with and I.V. She stands there and looks at him, shaken by the sight. After a moment alone, Doctor Joyce enters to check Logan's vital signs.

Rory sees the doctor - "Hi."

Doctor Joyce greets her - "Hello."

Rory tells her - "I'm Rory. I'm his girlfriend."

Doctor Joyce - "I'm Doctor Joyce."

Rory anxious - "How's he doing? Is he going to be okay?"

Doctor Joyce isn't helpful - "I'm sorry, I really can't get into the specifics."

Rory continues to try - "Well, he's out of the ICU, so that's good, right? They wouldn't have moved him up here unless he was recovering."

Doctor Joyce flatly - "I'm sorry. Really."

Rory now beginning to panic a bit - "But he's had surgery, right? Does he need more surgery? Does he have broken bones? I can donate blood if you want."

Doctor Joyce wanting to end this - "Miss..."

Rory now panicking - "You really...You can't even tell me what he has or what you guys have done or what's wrong? Anything?"

Doctor Joyce dispassionately - "I'm sorry. Hospital policy. We're doing everything can."

Rory dejectedly - "Okay."

Stage Direction: The doctor exits. Rory looks at Logan, takes a beat, sits down at his bedside and worries.

Stage Direction: The diner is bustling. Miss Patty is there. A frustrated Luke approaches Caesar with several bananas, as Caesar is cheerily taking an order from a customer.

Caesar tells the customer - "I will get that for you in two shales of a lamb's tail."

Luke a bit annoyed - "Caesar, why am I still finding bananas in the fridge?"

Caesar looks at him blankly - "Oh, you wanted me to take all the bananas out of the fridge?"

Luke getting cranked up - "Yes, when I said 'Remove the bananas.' I was referring to all the bananas. Otherwise I would have said 'a banana' or 'some of the bananas'."

Caesar stops and considers all this - "Hmmmm..."

Luke really annoyed - "What..."

Caesar goes on - "It's just that while I was running the place, that was one of my innovations: cold bananas. People really love them."

Lorelai puzzled - "so, how did you get all that information? I thought they only allowed family members to--"

Rory interjects - "Paris"

Lorelai thankful - "God love her."

Rory goes on to explain - "I'm sorry I didn't call sooner. I got you messages, I've just been so overwhelmed."

Lorelai tells her - "I'm just glad to hear from you. Is there anything I can do? Anything you need? It's been awhile since I've sent out a care package. You could be up to your eyeballs in Mad Libs, Silly String, malted milk balls..."

Rory relaxes a bit - No, I'm good. Colin and Finn went back to New Haven to get some stuff for me. I think I'm going to just hang out here for a while."

Stage Direction: Laura heads off to the bathroom and the other girls line up to go after her.

Stage Direction: Lorelai takes a tiara out of her back pocket, places it on April's head and then takes her hand.

Lorelai calls out to the group - "Okay, now everybody line up single file behind us."

April trying to be helpful - "We've already been to the bathroom."

Lorelai mysteriously - "I know. This is going to be even better... Now, take the hand of the person in front of you and the person in back of you."

Stage Direction: The girls start lining up."

Luke begins to act all Father-In-Charge - "Everybody try to walk at the same pace. You step on somebody's heel and you could break an ankle. And look out for traffic. Not just cars, but bikes, too. People in this town bicycle like maniacs. I saw a guy fly over his handlebars--"

Lorelai calls out chidingly - "Luke!"

Luke gruffly - "Sorry"

Stage Direction: They are out the door.

Exterior - Stars Hollow - Ten Minutes later - Day (Day 2) - Scene 19 -

Stage Direction: Lorelai leads April and the rest of the group, still holding hands, Pied Piper style, up the sidewalk. The girls are already having a lot more fun, giggling and smiling as the draw attention from the locals. Luke is till a bundle of nerves.

Sue asks anyone - "Where are we going?"

April answers - "No idea."

Lorelai calls out - "Serpentine, girls! Serpentine!"

Stage Direction: Lorelai leads them in a serpentine motion down the sidewalk.

Luke calls out to Lorelai - "Hey, is it wise to serpentine?"

Lorelai calls back - "NO!"

Stage Direction: April and several of the girls laugh at this. Lorelai leads them into Stars Hollow Beauty Supply.

Interior - Stars Hollow Beauty Supply - Continuous - Day (Day 2) - Scene 20 -

Stage Direction: Lorelai leads the girls into the store. As they enter, they are enthusiastically greeted by two female store employees, Leslie and Allison, holding baskets. Clearly, they were ready and waiting for them. As each girl enters, she is welcomed by the women and handed a basket.

Leslie and Allison greet Lorelai - "Hi Lorelai."

Lorelai greets them - "Hi ladies." Indicating April "This is the birthday girl."

Leslie and Allison both chime - "Hi April - Happy Birthday."

April tells them - "Hello."

Allison gushes - "You are adorable."

Stage Direction: As the girls file in, Lorelai addresses them.

Lorelai to all the girls - "All right, girls. I want you to each take a basket and fill it up. Pick out whatever you want because we're all getting makeovers."

Stage Direction: The girls are giggling and squealing with excitement.

Lorelai goes on - "And no holding back. I want you to go wild. Colors, glitter and fake anything and everything. Hair, nails, eyelashes, beauty marks, tattoos."

Luke really out of it - "We're showing slides?"

Lorelai jerking his chain - "Naturally. I wonder what the girls would like better: trout fishing or the Red Sox spring training?"

Luke pauses - "Well..."

Lorelai cuts to the chase - "Kirk's bringing over the projector from the movie theater. Now go. Part two awaits."

Luke accepting anything Lorelai says - "Part two. Got it."

Stage Direction: Luke rushes off to get the screen. Lorelai turns around and finds nine of the girls, all lined up in front of her. Laura is first.

Lorelai checks - "Heart Tattoos?"

Laura responds - "Yes, please."

Lorelai tell all of them - "Be thinking of a color, ladies."

Marcia commands - "Open it"

Stage Direction: Luke backs off. APril starts to open the gift.

Luke panics and turns to Lorelai - "Wait... Is that my gift?"

Lorelai tells him - "It said it's from Luke."

Stage Direction: April opens it. It is not the horrid kitty cat toiletry kit. It's a big book.

April get very excited recognizing the book - "'The new Way Things Work.' I was going to get this!"

Stage Direction: She opens it up and finds something in the pages.

April very, very excited - "And a gift certificate to The Discovery Store. Thanks, Luke."

Stage Direction: Luke is confused. he glances at Lorelai, who is smiling. Suddenly, April is on front of Luke giving him a hug. His first hug from APril. He hugs her back.

April tells him - "I love it. Thanks you so much."

Luke tells her "You're welcome."

Stage Direction: She breaks the hug and returns to her previous spot. Luke turns to Lorelai.

Luke looking at Lorelai - "Thank you."

Scene 1 -

Scene 2 - Aunt One shouts out "Lane!" and all of the RELATIVES spot Lane and run over to start fawning. They speak in Korean and comment on how pretty she is, with shiny hair, and Cousin One says they're so proud of her. Aunt One asks when she'll have children. Mrs Kim shoos the family back to the kitchen and tells them to get back to work. She tells Lane to go back upstairs because when she comes down cooking stops. Lane complains that it's hot up there and with the hot air rises the smell of 10 pounds of kimchee. There's a knock at the front door as Mrs Kim tells Lane to stick her head out a window or pull her sweater over her face, but to get back upstairs.

Scene 10 - Night 1 - EXT Doose's Market - It's a quiet mellow night when the door opens and out come Lorelai, Rory, Sookie, Lane and three of Lane's friends: NIKKI, STACEY, and CHARLOTTE. Lane is wearing a shirt that says "I'm marrying a musician - someone stop me" while the rest of the group wears shirts that read "Friends of Mrs. Van Gerbig". They're also wearing tiaras, light up jewelry and carrying party bags and grocery bags of beer and snacks. Lorelai calls the group to attention and asks to do a quick check that they got all of the supplies. Rory reads off the list. Beer..check, more beer...check, beer and pretzels...check, various treats, alternative alcohol and more beer...check! With the list accounted for Lorelai explains that the first leg of the evening is about to commence. Lorelai says that it is their job to give Lane one night, and one headache, that she will never forget. First stop: the Black, White and Read theater where they will sneak in their booze and treats and watch "American Gigolo". The group heads off when they hear KYON shout for them to wait. She had to wait for both Mrs. Kims to fall asleep before she could climb down the tree to meet them. [Skips one page] Rory says he (Christopher) bought himself a sidekick too and has been texting her every 5 minutes. Rory asks Lorelai why she didn't say no when he ran this by her. Lorelai says she thinks it's nice that they have a real daddy-daughter thing going on. Rory remarks that he's buying celery right now. And now he's in the canned peas isle. "Interesting, no? No!" as she yells at the sidekick. Lorelai takes the sidekick and types a message "Your daughter's about to see Richard Gere's penis. Enjoy the celery" and says that should shut him up for a while. They hear a noise and see Stacey throwing up in the bushes. Lorelai says it's got to be some sort of record as the party continues down the street.

Scene 5 - Day 1 - Sophie's Music Store - Lane enters carrying "Drummer Available" fliers, she asks the worker LOU if she can put them up, he says they come down in two weeks. Lane looks to the back of the shop where people are watching some acoustic music. It's ZACH and JOEL...

Scene 7 - Yale - The "Young Voices of Journalism" panel. A moderator introduces the editors of collegiate newspapers. Christopher and Lorelai are in the audience, making comments. Rory is a panelist.

Scene 8 - Night 1 - Yale - Rory is now much more relaxed and confident as she answers a question from the audience. The panel ends. Lorelai and Christopher look on; proud and impressed and Lorelai comments that "The girl's got skills"

Scene 11 - Country Club - Logan and Rory, Logan asks if she's ok hanging out by herself for a while. She has her laptop and bag so she's fine. Logan says there's a library somewhere in here and Rory says she'll figure it out and for him to go put in his eye patch and find some cuff links. Logan kisses her, then he and Josh go off on a cuff link hunt. Rory catched a country club staff member and asks about the library. HONOR appears with curlers in her hair and bridesmaids in tow. She asks Rory to come with them and be the designated dresser since the girls cracked open a case of champagne.

Scene 12 - Day 2 - Dressing room - The bridesmaids and Rory talk and drink champagne. They toast to Honor. Rory is one of the girls.

Scene 13 - Day 2 - Lorelai's House - Christopher drops off G.G. and a large bag of stuff, Lorelai is babysitting. G.G. takes over the tv and shushes Lorelai when she tries to talk.

Scene 14 - Day 2 - Dressing Room - A couple of hours have passed. Honro and the bridesmaids are all dressed with their hair and make up done. Honor has a tiny freak out but calms down when someone reminds her that she loves Josh. Rory fixes Honor's shoe. The girls warn Rory about the dignitaries coming to the wedding. The wedding planner says she needs to steal the bride for a few pictures. Gives a three minute warning to the rest, Rory and the bridesmaids. Some of the bridesmaids begin listing the bachelors who will be at the wedding and someone says that there's always Logan. The drunkest says "been there, done that", another tells her to shush because Rory is Logan's girlfriend. They say it's ok because it was before they started dating, around Thanksgiving. The other one had a one night stand with him in December. Rory can't even absorb it all.

Scene 19 - Night 2 - Rich Man's Shoe - It's late and ROry is sitting at the bar with a drink, not her first. She asks for another and explains that she's not driving when the bartender is hesitant. A waitress tries to clear some napkins and Rory grabs them back. She explains that they're HER napkins. The waitress walks away. The Bartender brings Rory her drink and some pretzels, telling her to eat something. She thinks a beat and starts to tear up. Doyle staggers over from across the way and sits next to her. He's drunk.
