That´s soooo true!
Their cars look really "old". Germans would have dumped them years ago!!
Especially now, with the "Abwrackprämie".

That's right.
And I think they don't have something like TÃV so they can drive their cars until they fall apart lol

I've been to Helgoland three or four times. I can't really remember them all. It's difficult for me to go there because I get sea sick but I like Helgoland. It became really touristic over the last years. I can remember once over ten years ago we were in Helgoland and there were seals on the beach really close beside us. But the last time I went to Helgoland there were so many tourists and no seals
. I think it's a little bit like Sylt but smaller. But what I really like about Helgoland is that there are no cars.

I've never been to Helgoland. The only places I've been in Germany are Munich, Stuttgart, Bochum and small towns in Bavaria and Baden-Würtemberg. I really want to go to Hamburg, Wolfsburg and Berlin sometimes but this summer I'll fly to Texas to visit my aunt. I'm really happy that I can go this year because I wanted to go there since I've 12 =).
My car isn't working right now. My mom said that with the "Abwrackprämie" I only have to pay like 5000 ⬠for a new car but unfortunately I don't have 5000 ⬠so I have to fix my car and have to save some money to buy a new Polo

I will take a lot of pictures and upload them to my twitter every evening and then you can look at them xD. And I think that it will be very hot, when I'm there - at least my granny said so because she was there shortly before 9/11. she landed in munich a day before. And she said that there are a lot of big spiders and I'm very very afraid of spiders (and just because the tv-show alf)

Yeah, I think Texas is gonna be very hot.
A friend of mine was in Houston a couple of years ago and she told me it was practically impossible to go outside of the house. Ah, and she caught a cold because of the air conditioning lol

Oh, I'm only hoping that I won't get the swine-flu because that wouldn't be so good... a normal cold is okay.

XD well like the situation is now I'd say the chance to get swine flu in Texas is as big as getting it in Germany. But okay Texas is next to Mexico and there are most of the swine flu cases.
But I'm sure you won't get it =)
And take pictures (from everything^^) XD

Ditto!
I'm also gonna fly into the states this summer. At first I really didn't want to because of the swine-flu but now I said yes but I'm still kinda scared.
I guess I just have to not think about it.
