Scene 1 - Day 1 - Dragonfly Inn - Kitchen (11 a.m.), LORELAI enters the kitchen and says hello, half a dozen workers reply with muted hellos. The mood is tense and subdued. SOOKIE is sitting by herself by the stove, forlornly. Lorelai asks one of the workers, FRED, if it's a food funk. He says it's a major one. Lorelai asks if it's like the one in May or the one from "ought-five", Fred says it's like the 2001 goose... Lorelai approaches Sookie and says her name. Sookie shouts "you mean Hackie! Hackie!" Lorelai asks what's up. Sookie says this is what's up and holds up something, Lorelai replies that it's an oyster...

Scene 2 - Day 1 - Dragonfly Inn - Dining Room, Lorelai and Sookie enter to find a 5 piece Cajun Zydeco band with Boozoo on accordian. They're there to audition for the wedding. Lorelai forgot about the meeting. BooZoo asks what she wants them to play. Lorelai starts to say that she doesn't need them to play but BooZoo says they must play and the band starts up with "Zydeco Boogaloo". Lorelai turns to Sookie and says she totally forgot about it, Sookie replies that June 3rd is coming up pretty quickly. Lorelai replied with a resigned "I know. Super quick." BooZoo stops the band when he notices Lorelai's face. Lorelai tries to convince him that she loves the song but he says her face says no and jumps into another song. Lorelai still looks preoccupied, Sookie tells her to smile or the band might never go away. Lorelai puts on her best smile and nods to BooZoo.

ACT ONE

Scene 3 -

...

Scene 16 - Lorelai and Rory are discussing the "gnarly cardio" they have performed so far by walking up steps to get in the building. Lorelai asks why cucumber water is so much more refreshing than regular water. Rory says it's probably the cucumbers and asks if they should resume their workout, which they do by strolling through the facility. They are suddenly startled by a man groaning and dropping the handles of a machine with a bang. They let out some exclamations then see the guy and figure it out. Rory says a little warning would have been in order. Lorelai wonders if no one remembers gym etiquette. They continue on then stop at a machine. Lorelai sits and Rory plays with the handles of a pulldown machine. Rory asks if Luke is ok and says she seems a little distracted. Lorelai says he's fine, just not much of a traveler so it's all new to him. Rory says she wants him to have fun and Lorelai says she does too. During this the weightlifting man has come over and is looking at Lorelai. He asks if he can work in. Lorelai says "Work in what?" then figures out what he's asking...

The information summarized below is taken from 3 Sides for: Fred, BooZoo, and Weightlifting Guy

The 23 Jan Shooting Script amended the Casting Sides for Fred and provided the episode title.

I will include context and stage direction descriptions where appropriate.
  • Characters:
Fred – One of Sookie’s chefs.
BooZoo – Middle-aged guy playing the accordion in a Zydeco band
Weightlifter Guy – Guy working out at a gym that Lorelai and Rory are visiting

Editor Note: The Casting Sides start with Scene 1 of the Show staring with the Teaser – as we FADE IN:

Interior – Dragonfly Inn - Kitchen – 11 A.M. (Day 1) - Scene 1 -

Stage Direction: Lorelai enters. A half dozen kitchen staff are standing around.

Lorelai greets everyone – “Morning, everyone.”

Stage Direction: They all mutter ‘hellos.’.

Lorelai going off their mood – “What’s wrong?”

Stage Direction: A chef, Fred, nods toward the stove. Lorelai sees Sookie sitting with her back to everyone, looking very forlorn.

Lorelai now on guard – “Oh-oh. Food funk?”

Fred just looks at her – “Major.”

Lorelai inquires – “Are we talking Swiss chard a la polonaise-level funk from last May? The pannekochen experiments of aught-five?”

Fred tells her – “Two thousand one pigeons a la Nicoise.”

Lorelai cringes at the bad news – “Pigeons a la Nicoise? Oh boy…She approaches Sookie Sookie?”

Sookie yelling – “You mean, Sucky”

Lorelai tries to defuse things – “What’s up?”

Sookie continues ranting – “I’ll tell you what’s up. You know what this is?”

Stage Direction: She holds something up to Lorelai.

Lorelai innocently – “An oyster.”

Editor Note: Scene 1 continues for some length.

End of Casting Sides for Fred.

Interior – Dragonfly Inn – Dining Room – Continuous – Day (Day 1) – Scene 2 –

Stage Direction: Lorelai and Sookie enter and discover a five-piece Cajun Zydeco band (accordion, guitar, bass, drums, rub board) set up and ready to go. An enthusiastic, middle-aged guy named BooZoo is on accordion. It’s between meals, so there are customers in the library and living room, but not here.

Lorelai cheerfully – “Hi. I’m Lorelai Gilmore. Can I help you guys?”

BooZoo holds out his hand – “I’m BooZoo.”

Lorelai thrown off – “BooZoo? Your name’s BooZoo?”

BooZoo confirms things – “BooZoo Barns.”

Lorelai blankly repeats – “BooZoo Barns.”

BooZoo trying to help – “And the Cajun Stompers.”

Lorelai finally admits – “I’m about a thousand miles behind here.”

BooZoo now is puzzled – “We set this up awhile ago? The audition? BooZoo?”

Lorelai remember light comes on – “BooZoo! That BooZoo!

Sookie ever helpful – “You know more than one BooZoo?”

Lorelai explains to her – “No, I set this up myself. It was for the wedding. The audition.”

BooZoo light up – “The audition!”

Sookie glumly – “Oh, the wedding.”

BooZoo asks Lorelai – “What do you want to hear?”

Lorelai tries to explain – “Well, BooZoo, it’s like this…I kind of don’t need you to play because—“

BooZoo cuts Lorelai off and is adamant – “No, Miss Gilmore, no, it’s like this: when Cajuns are at their instruments, they must play.”

Lorelai – “But—“

Stage Direction: Too late. BooZoo has turned to the band.

BooZoo starts up – “’Zydeco Boogaloo,’ boys. One, two three, four.”

Stage Direction: They launch into a rousing instrumental. The girls now have to talk loudly to be heard over the band. Some of the customers wander in, wondering what’s up.

Lorelai loudly to Sookie – “And, they’re off. God, I totally forgot to cancel this.”

Sookie trying to be heard – “June third’s coming up pretty quick too, hon.”

Lorelai confesses – “I know,. Super quick.”

Stage Direction: BooZoo stops the band, having noticed Lorelai’s less-than-happy expression.

BooZoo asks her – “You don’t like the song?”

Lorelai resignedly – “No, BooZoo, I love the song.”

BooZoo astutely – “Lips say yes, face say no. To the band ‘Why You Wanna Make Me Cry,’ boys. One, two, three, four.”

Stage Direction: BooZoo and the boys plow into another song. Lorelai still looks concerned, preoccupied.

Sookie prompts Lorelai – “Smile. Or BooZoo may never go away.”

Stage Direction: Lorelai puts on her best smile, and nods to BooZoo to indicate that she is really enjoying the music. She and Sookie continue enjoying it, as we: FADE OUT.

Mensch. -.-
Logan tat mir Leid. Mitchum ist ja so...*grr* Und das Haus von Logans Eltern...wow! Da will ich auch hin^^
Der Rest auch super (mehr oder weniger ^^). Hatte mir das ILY nur anders vorgestellt. So wars aber auch schön.

EDIT:
Ich glaube das FF hat das irgendwie gesperrt oder so. oO Ich kann mich ja mal ans hochladen machen...^^
oh ja das wäre echt nett
