Danke für euer FB. Da ich heute in Schreiblaune bin, poste ich noch zwei Teile, auch wenn ich den ersten etwas lahm finde, weil da nicht wirklich viel passiert! Viel Spaà bein lesen!
Teil 26:
Rory ist mitten in einer Vorlesung. Sie hat sich fest vorgenommen, die letzten 6 Wochen aus ihrem Leben zu streichen. Die vier Wochen, wo sie sich gefragt hat, wo Jess ist und den Abend vor zwei Wochen, an dem Jess ihr offiziell gesagt hat, dass er keinerlei Gefühle mehr für sie hat. Jeden erdenklichen Grund hatte sie für Jess "Flucht" gedacht, doch nicht, dass er sie nicht mehr liebt. Hatte sie ihn denn gar nicht glücklich gemacht? War das Leben mit ihr so schlimm, dass man gleich vor ihr davon laufen muss? Das ist nicht ihr Jahr, nein, dass ist absolut nicht ihr Jahr. Plötzlich bereut Rory auch alle Entscheidungen, die sie in den Vergangenen Monaten getroffen hatte.
"Miss Gilmore, Miss Gilmore!"
"Was?" Rory blickt erschrocken auf. Sie war völlig in Gedanken, sodass sie sich keinerlei Notizen gemacht hatte und auch verträumt hatte, dass die Vorlesung bereits seit 10 min. zu ende ist und sie die einzige noch anwesende Studentin im Raum ist.
"Miss Gilmore, wollen sie nicht langsam mal Pause machen? Oder haben sie noch Fragen an mich, bezüglich meiner Vorlesung?"
"Nein, Mrs. Cornwall, nein habe ich nicht."
"Gut, aber es wäre nett, wenn Sie mir noch einen Teil ihrer Zeit schenken, ich müsste da noch etwas mit ihnen klären!"
"Ja gut, um was geht es denn?", fragt Rory, die sich gerade von ihrem Stuhl erhoben hat.
"Nein, kommen Sie lieber mit in mein Büro."
Rory folgt ihrer Professorin in ihr Büro. Dort angekommen setz sich Rory auf den Stuhl am Schreibtisch, vor ihr sitz Mrs. Cornwall.
"Also, wie Sie wissen, sind sie vor nun fast einem Jahr zu uns gekommen."
"Ja.", entgegnet Rory und puhlt dabei an ihren Nägeln.
"Vorher waren Sie ein Jahr in Yale und ihre Noten waren hervorragend, so wie man es sich von einer fleiÃigen Studentin wünscht. Als sie dann hier anfingen, waren ihre Noten auch weiterhin sehr gut, sie waren sogar eine der beste Studentinen: fleiÃig, aufmerksam, höflich, schlau.."
"Danke."
"Ja aber, seit vier, fünf Wochen sind ihre Noten von eins auf drei abgerutscht und die Tendenz ist noch schlechter. Sie haben Hausarbeiten unvollständig abgegeben, bei den Prüfungen blieb die Hälfte der Fragen unbeantwortet, zu einigen sind sie sogar gar nicht erst erschienen. In zwei Monaten ist ihr zweites Studienjahr abgeschlossen und wenn sie nicht bald etwas unternehmen, sehen ich schwarz für Ihren Abschluss! Sicherlich, bestehen würde Sie, aber es wäre schade, wenn jemand wie Sie den Abschluss nur mit befriedigend oder ausreichend besteht. Lassen sie sich zwei Jahre vor ihrem Abschluss nicht so gehen! Es tut mir leid, aber so sieht es aus! Noch können sie das Blatt wenden! Ich wünsche ihnen trotzdem noch einen schönen Tag und bitte halten Sie sich an meinen Rat, den es wäre Schade, wenn sie das Semester wiederholen müssten!"
Rory geht erschrocken hinaus. Sie wusste, dass sie sich verschlechtert hat, aber das es sogar ihren Abschluss gefährden könnte, hätte sie nicht gedacht. Sie will nicht ein Jahr wiederholen, nein!!!
