Lorelai is by the front desk wit her cell phone and calls Luke's.He picks up and says "Luke's" (The diner is really packed and Caeser is handing him plates).

Lorelai: It's me.
Luke:Hello?
Lorelai:It's me
Lu:oh hey
Lo:can we talk
Lu:oh well,we're kind of busy (they reeally are)
Lo:I just wanted to talk
Lu: talk about what (He's wiping the counter)
Lo:what?
Lu:talk about what
Lo:could you find a quieter place
Lu:like where
Lo:just go outside
Lu:phone doesnt reach outside
Lo:use your cell
Lu:I dont have a cell
Lo:what about the one Nicole gave you
Luhe got it back after the divorce.actually i threw it in the lake after the divorce.

(Davey is crying in the background of the Inn and Lorelai is walking around).

(Luke is walking around getting the phone cord tangled on everything)

Lu:Jeez what the hell is going on over there
Lo:whats going on over there(Luke crashes into something).
Lu:Hold on
Lo:you hold on too(she walks into a coat closet and shuts the door).

Lo:yeah i realized that when I got back last night i was um a little distracted(sits down next to Michels dog,chewing on a shoe)and
Lu:Hey no big deal
Lo:uh no no it was a big deal.i just um,
Lueriously you dont need to
Lo:we kissed

(luke is quiet and smiles)

Lo:you and me we kissed
Lu:i remember
Lo:and it was unexpected
Lu:Lorelai relax,im fine if you just want to forget it ever happened. really
Lo:No I dont want to forget it ever happened. It was a great kiss
Lu:yeah
Lo:if either of us had been a frog it would have had some seriously impressive consequences
