nein kein Friede Freude Eierkuchen weil die zwei müssen sich erst über einige Dinge klar werden... naja ein neuer Teil für euch, hope ya'll like it
When Mia walked into the diner, she instantly got the vibe floating around. And it was a bad vibe. Plus it was radiating from Luke, who looked like he hadnât slept in ages, his face looked so much older and he hadnât shaved in two days.
âHey Mia, Iâll be right with ya, have a seatâ he said in a hollow voice and tried to smile at her. She went over to him, putting a hand on his arm to stop him from working and looked him in the eye âWhatâs wrong, Lucasâ she said in a no-nonsense voice but he shook off her arm âNothingâs wrong, I gotta work so sit down, Iâll get through when I get throughâ But Mia wasnât buying any of it, so she followed him to the counter
âLucas, I know when somethingâs bothering you, I mean look at you, you look like someone had whacked you over the head with a baseball bat, you havenât had any sleep and youâre barking at everyone!â âI donât know what youâre talking aboutâ he mumbled as he filled her a cup of coffee. âLucas⦠Iâm not an idiot, you know. Is this about Lorelai?â he flinched at the sound of her name âWhatâs wrong?â
âNothingâs wrong, except that other guys keep calling her, last one was some Paul and she flirts with them on the phone and thatâs just so disgusting to watch, you know and weâve been together for like a month now and we didnât sleep with each other even though I heard from her friends that sheâs really easy to get to bed. And when she got off that phonecall with Paul I confronted her with that and she couldnât even argue with me, she didnât even say anything and I was so mad that I told her that I couldnât do this anymore and then I stormed up to my apartment and you know what she did? She left me a note, very thoughtful, huh? Gave it to Caesar to give it to meâ he scoffed and finally turned around to face Mia, who had frowned a little more with each word he said.
âDid you read the note?â she asked softly âTs, why should I, it probably says that it wasnât so great anyway and that Iâm just not good enough for her and blab la, I donât need to read that, Mia.â âWhy are you so cynical, Lucas? Maybe sheâs not that awful as you tend to see herâ Luke shook his head âListen, about the phone calls: Sheâs been single for a really long time, she told me so, so she doesnât know how much this hurts you cause itâs normal for her to get a little flirty over the phone and if itâs just limited to ear-to-ear conversation over a phoneline, I donât see the harm. And her not sleeping with you might mean that she wants this thing with you to be different from the other guys sheâs been with; the oneâs who got her into bed right away. Lucas, Iâve never seen you so happy in your entire life like when you were with her so donât let her slip away like that just cause youâre both too stubborn to realize your mistakes, okay? Thatâs all Iâm asking! So think about what I said and do the right thingâ she kissed him on the cheek and walked out the door, leaving Luke behind, thinking God Iâm such an idiot!
