SpoilerIn Instant Star's third season, Jude's career is back on top with her new single climbing the pop charts. Pressure mounts when Jude has to contend with Karma, the newly-crowned winner of the Instant Star contest. Played by Juno-nominated singer/songwriter Cory Lee, Karma gives Jude a run for the vocal spotlight. Fighting tooth-and-nail, Jude does all she can to remain on top, but can't prepare herself for what's to come next when, for the first time in her career, she could possibly become front-page tabloid fodder.
While fans are still watching Jude grow up in Season 2, we are fortunate enough to feed off their enthusiasm while we are hard at work on Season 3; said Linda Schuyler, CEO and Executive Producer, Epitome Pictures.
Those alongside Jude on her rock n' roll journey include her svengali-like producer Tom Quincy (Tim Rozon), her boy-next-door best friend/ex Jamie Andrews (Kristopher Turner), her punk rocker gal pal (and Jamie's girlfriend) Patsy Sewer (Zoie Palmer), Jude's overachieving older sister Sadie (Laura Vandervoort) and the head of G Major, media-mogul Darius Mills (Wes Maestro Williams). Coming face-to-face with Jude in Season 3 is the new Instant Star winner Karma (Cory Lee). A 2006 Juno nominee for Best R'n'B/Soul Recording of the Year, 21-year-old Lee is a Vancouver native currently residing in Toronto. She will release her sophomore album this fall.
