The fifth episode of the season will be a Halloween one. In the episode, some of the ladies working at the hospital formed a sort of club of women who have been hit on by a certain male doctor (Mark?). Erin, the daughter of a man waiting for a heart transplant, gets angry when his father's state worsens due to the fact the hospital is short staff and that those who are working seems to be more into Halloween than patients. Later, Erin becomes a patient when a Halloween prank goes wrong. A man wants one of his ears to be removed saying that he can't sleep because of it. When the doctors don't want to perform this wacky surgery, the man takes matters in his own hands. Ryan, a deaf kid who has a lot of tricks and some lies in his bag, wants to have hearing aids implanted inside his ears and hopes that the doctors will do it pro bono. The doctors also tend to a patient who cut one of his fingers when using a chainsaw to carve a pumpkin. Source: SpoilerFix BuddyTV Spoilers Chat

- 08/17 - George decides to repeat his internship, meaning he'll be with all the new interns including Lexie, Meredith's half sister. No word on which new resident will have either George or Lexie, but we know it won't be Izzie. The rest of the former interns are now residents, and are having issues with having to report to Callie. Meredith joins Cristina on her honeymoon before they both return to Seattle Grace two weeks after Burke walked out on Cristina. And yes, Burke has resigned. And Meredith uses the time away to consider her own relationship with Derek. Bailey is still pretty upset with Richard for choosing Callie for Chief Resident and is struggling to find her place on the hierarchy of the hospital. Richard takes Derek's advice and decides to return to his position as Seattle Grace's Chief. And he and Adele get back together. After Addison leaves, Mark tries to befriend Derek again. and it sounds as though his relationship with Meredith will also play a role in this. One of the interns from last season's season finale has also snagged a spot as a recurring character on Grey's Anatomy. Candice Afia will be returning to Grey's Anatomy. Joseph Williamson (who played the hot intern in the season finale) will be returning as well. Of the remaining two interns we saw last season, neither are returning as this season's interns. - 07/27 - Edward Herrmann is scrubbing in for a guest role on ABC's hit drama Grey's Anatomy. Details on his role are being kept under wraps, but it is understood that he will play a doctor in at least three episodes. Source: The Hollywood Reporter [Note: Could he be playing the doctor in his 50s described in our 4.02 spoilers?]
- 06/08 - Multiple sources are telling me that Isaiah Washington will not be returning to Grey's Anatomy next season. ] Plot-wise, it won't be difficult to explain Washington's absence. In last month's season finale, Burke left Cristina at the altar and moved out of their apartment. Source: The Ausiello Report

Leo has had plenty of guest starring television roles as well, such as Dexter, That '70s Show, The X-Files and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. But things go awry when the teen starts to speak nonsense and collapses. A patient named Connie is in for surgery to remove a cancer in her vocal chords. Before the operation, she tells two of her best friends stuff she has on her mind since it may be the last time she'll talk. What she has to say is not pretty (your breath stinks, you look fat in those pants, etc.). When she comes back from surgery, her friends decide to return the "favor" and tell Connie that she has terrible taste in men. Not to worry, all friends will kiss and make up! Elsewhere, a woman who was told she was terminal and decided to end everything in her life (break up with her boyfriend, get rid of her possessions, quit her job) learns that she will live after all. A woman named Ruthie comes to the ER because of an injured foot. The doctor learns that Ruthie has been on an extreme regime and training in order to lose 40 pounds. Ruthie and her fiancé Will admit that they agreed to get married when Ruthie lost 40 pounds. In exchange for the sacrifice, Will would quit smoking. The doctor tells the couple that, besides the foot injury, Ruthie has two other fractures. In order for the repairs to hold and recovery to be faster, she will need to eat. After vomiting, she is brought in surgery. Later, the doctor finds Will smoking. He says that Ruthie will forgive him. Thing is, Ruthie died because her body was too weak. The doctor calls Will on his need to make Ruthie be hot instead of accepting her for who she was. Source: SpoilerFix.com
