BREAKING NEWS … Cecelia Ahern's TV comedy, ‘Sam I Am' Goes To Series
ABC Network has picked up the half-hour comedy series "Sam I Am," created by Cecelia Ahern with the Teleplay by Donald Todd. The series will premiere on the US network in the fall for the 2007/2008 season and will star Christine Applegate.

It will air Monday Nights after ‘Dancing With The Stars’.

"Sam I Am" is a single camera comedy about a 30-year old woman who, after becoming a victim of a hit and run, wakes up from a coma with retrograde amnesia and has to rediscover her life, her relationships and herself.

The series will be produced by ABC studios, producer of the hit series "Desperate Housewives," "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost" and "Ugly Betty."

SAM I AM’
On Tuesday 23rd January, ABC announced they have picked up Cecelia’s pilot ‘Sam I Am’ (previously The Memory Trace). SAM I AM (from Touchstone TV and studio-based Brillstein Grey Entertainment) is a single-camera comedy about a woman who wakes up from a coma with amnesia and has to rediscover her life, her relationships and herself. Cecelia Ahern and Don Todd conceived the story for the pilot, which was written by Don Todd. Todd is executive producing along with BGE’s Peter Traugott, while Cecelia will serve as producer. Christina Applegate, Jean Smart and Jennifer Espisoto will star.
