Luke buried his hands in her hair, soaking up everything about her, breathing her in.
“I love you. Oh my god, I love you so much” he whispered in her ear, already close to tears already.
She sniffled “I love you too” she sobbed into his shoulder, finally realizing what he had to go through over the last weeks.

A soft knock on the door interrupted the twos quiet sobbing and they looked up only to see Alex popping her head through the door, smiling widely.
“Can we come in?” Lorelai nodded and all five of them gathered around the bed.
Sheila surprised everyone by rushing over to Lorelai and hugging her close.
“I’m so glad, I’m so glad, I’m so glad” she repeated over and over until Lorelai shot Lauren a desperate look and she peeled Sheila away from her and moving in to give her best friend a hug.
“I’m so glad too, I wouldn’t’ve known what to do if you had really…” she couldn’t finish the sentence, tears rolling down her cheeks
“Hey, it’s okay honey, calm down” Chris took her in his arms and comforted her.
Lorelai smiled through her tears and held her arms out for Tom, who tossed away his bag and moved to her side.
“I love you, Lorelai, you know that, don’t you?” he asked and Lorelai nodded.
“I know Tom, thank you” she kissed him on the cheek and smiled.
Alex blew her nose over in the corner and came closer now, eying the machines warily, then pushing her paranoia aside and hugging Lorelai too. “Thank you guys, I’m so happy to see you all” she stroked Luke’s hand absent mindedly

“Okay, we’ll leave you guys alone now” said Lauren, taking the ‘hint’
“Oh no, you don’t have to go, I love having you guys around!”
“Yeah honey, but you and Luke need some quality time together now, so we’ll just wait outside” with that, she ushered them all out of the room, leaving Luke and Lorelai alone.

Lorelai sighed and turned to Luke, a serious expression on her face “You know it’s not over yet, right?”
He leaned down and kissed her
“I know”

Is des süss :heul: fühl mich geehrt.... aber des mit meiner schmutzigen fantasie, da seid ihr nicht ganz unschuldig dran, ihr fangt an und ich bau nur aus... *von einem ohr zum anderen grins*
so und nomma zurück zur widmung...
ich fühl mich zwar total geehrt, aber ich find's gemein, dass du grade den mir widmest, bei dem ich denke das genau die letzten zwei sätze, die bedeutendsten sind.
