hach ich muss mich jetzt hier ma auslassen, auch wenns grad gar nix damit zu tun hat *g*

ich habe eine superliebe Mail von einer HM bekommen.. die ich über Aupair-world gefunden hatte.

Jetzt schreibe ich ihr gerade zurück und weiß aber nicht, wie ich es lieb und nett ausdrücken kann.. sie schriebn in ihrer mail ihre erwartungen für ein aupair.. sie hatte vorher noch nie eines.

Sie schrieb darin

"Mornings would then begin with household jobbies. I'd want you to empty dishwasher, take care of the laundry, clean benches and tidy kitchen area, vacumn floors, mop kitchen every other day, clean bathroom/ toilet, maybe help with beds. Ideally I would want to aim for all jobs to be done by 10:30ish."

und da bin ich grad etwas erschrocken... ich mache gerne Hausarbeit, sehr gerne..zusammen mit der Familie oder so.. aber ich wollte eigentlich in erster Linie Aupair sein - mich um die Kinder kümmern und die Hausarbeit war dabei dann eher eine "Nebensache"...in ihrem Text schaut es für mich nun so aus, als sollte ich jeden Tag die Wäsche machen, Küche aufräumen, saugen, den boden wischen, badezimmer saubermachen und die betten machen..
und nu weiß ich nich wie ich das lieb und nett auf englisch ausdrücken soll. hm...

du musst als aupair normalerweise auch nur 'leichte Hausarbeiten' machen (vorausgesetzt du hast nen richtigen vertrag )

aber wenn du morgens schon staubsaugst, Bäder putzt usw. find ich hört sich das nach Dienstmädchen an...
wahrscheinlich bist du dann auch sehr schnell (und oft) über deiner eigentlich 40 Std. Woche...

in Australien/NZ gibts ja kein Aupair programm.. das ist nicht begrenzt oder so..du musst das vorher alles vorher ausmachen...
mir hörte sich das auch nach Dienstmädchen an.. hab ihr jetzt in meinem miserablen Englisch folgendes geschrieben:

I don't know how it is in NZ, because I know that it gaves no real Aupair-Program..but in the USA, you are not allowed to do so much housework, because a Aupair isn't a "housekeeper"... okay.. Let me explain.. .. I want to do a aupairyear, because I loving kids and I hope to get so more experiences..i want to do it because of the children... the household is for me is secondary - I would like to help in the house, but like a family member and not like a housekeeper.. you know, what I want to say? ...is nich sonderlich toll und wohl auch wieder tausende fehler *g* ..aber egal....wenn sie einen "housekeeper" will..muss sie den suchen... ich möchte ja aupair machen wegen der kinder...nicht um den haushalt zu schmeißen... kleine arbeiten sind okay - eben wie in einer familie.

hast du dich eigentlich jetzt entschieden und schon angemeldet als EduCare?

Nein, ich hab mich noch nicht angemeldet... ich weiß halt noch nicht so genau was ich will, aber ich hab auf jeden Fall nen 6-Wochen-Praktikumsplatz in einem integrativen Kndergarten sicher (wenn ich ihn will & mit dem Studium ne Pause mache)

Hast du es schon abgeschickt? Ein paar Fehler waren da nämlich wirklich drinnen, ohne klugscheißen zu wollen.

Aber egal.

Eine Internet-"Freundin" ist seit August auch in Neuseeland als AuPair. Ich hab allerdings seit 1 Jahr nichts mehr mit ihr zu tun, aber wenn du willst, gebe ich dir mal ihre Adresse (bzw. zwei addys, da ich nicht weiß, welche sie noch hat ^^)

du weißt noch nicht genau was du willst? also ob du es überhaupt willst oder wie?
6 wochen Praktikumsplatz ist natürlich supergenial.. und auch noch integreativ, das ist ne Erfahrung wert, denke ich...

bei Greataupair bist du also auch (noch) nicht angemeldet?

ja ich habs abgeschickt...aber ist mir ehrlichgesagt auch egal..ich bin nicht gut in Englisch und ich finds blöd die Fehler immer ausbessern zu lassne...denn die sollen auch vorher sehen, dass ich nich grad die beste bin..nich, dass die denken die kann perfekt englisch und dann komm ich hin und guck sie an wie ein auto

ne is klar dass dus über ne Orga machst *g* ..das meinte ich gar nicht...Orga ist ja Pflicht..da man ja sonst illegal in den USA ist..
aber es ist ja möglich sich trotzdem bei Greataupair anzumelden und auch selbst nach einer Familie zu suchen (die Organisationen finden das super) .. da hat man dann natürlich ne viel größere Auswahl..
