ich hab schon ein bisschen angst, dass alexis nein sagt und alles verändert wird.irgendwie befürchte ich, dass gilmore girls dann echt an qualität verliert und es eine womöglich ziemlich schlechte letzte staffel wird, die die voherigen 7staffeln in ein schlechteres licht rückt

Question: Do you know anything about the 8th season? What are your thoughts?

EH: I don’t know. Nobody has talked to me about an 8th season. I get along very nicely with Peter Roth, um, if they want me to do an 8th season, then I’m happy to do an 8th season. The girls, as leads, have a seven year contract and then they’re finished, they don’t have to do it anymore. And the workload they’ve been carrying for seven years have been truly stupefying, I mean, it’s really hard. And I think that Lauren would like to do some more. I don’t know about Alexis, I worked with her yesterday and I haven’t talked to her about her position in it. I do know she was such a rookie when she came in, she was a model and had had some experience on the run way. She was thrown into the toughest maelstrom of a show, of a single camera, one hour show. Without any training, without any background, and how she’s managed to do it is brilliant --She’s that good. For the first couple of seasons she was really unhappy, and I was her sort of uncle for awhile, and her parents were living in Houston and, you know, it was tough. She sorted herself out, she’s much more in control over her life, she’s much happier, and she’s done some films, and I’m not sure she wants to continue as an actress.

Naja immerhin wäre er dabei, ich glaube alexis is sowieso das einige was einer 8.staffel im wege steht. ABer wenn alle anderen wollen können sie vielleicht alexis auch dazu überreden weiter zu machen, wenigstens noch für 1ne staffel.

LW: I think that all of us want the show to continue and, you know, we’re all just standing by, waiting to see if that’ll happen or not. And, yeah, I, uh, it’s funny because, again, this season is showing glimpses of where these characters are going to go in the future, and I think it’s rare that you see young woman having to deal with the issues of being so young and being in love and what is your priority. Do you want to go to school and sort of have a career, or do you settle down when you’ve met the person you really, you know, want to be with?

Bei quotenmeter.de hab ich heute unter dem titel "VOX und der Blick über den Teich - Gleich vier Quotenrenner des Kölner Senders sind in den USA von der Absetzung bedroht. Was sagt der Sender dazu" folgendes gelesen:

man darf die serie einfach nich absetzen .. wir könn ja nix dafür wenn die in amerika unsere vorliebe für gg nich teilen ! das muss weitergehen ...

Also, nach Ende der sechsten Staffel fand ich es eigentlich ok, die Gilmore Girls nach der siebten Staffel gehen zu lassen! Um weiteren Schaden zu vermeiden!
Aber da dies ja nicht der Fall war und ich die Staffel bis jetzt nicht so prickelnd fand, möchte ich eine Entschädigung haben
Also her mit der 8.!
