Emily instructs her maid-of-the-episode Françoise to help Rory store her summer clothing. Emily wants Rory to start dressing per the season and not go with the flow. Rory organized a DAR party in a museum where there are various portraits of George Washington on display. Later, a few DAR women are at the Gilmores' with Rory. Rory wird voll in die Emily Welt gezogen aber sie hat es ja nicht anders gewollt - jetzt muss sie da durch. so wie sich die Spoiler anhören, wird sie wohl keinen Kontakt zu Lorelai haben in den ersten Folgen. Wenn ich Lorelai wäre, würde ich ihr auch die kalte Schulter zeigen am Anfang.

na da bin ich ja mal gespannt. wir haben ja nicht viel in der fünften davon abbekommen - da können sie es in der sechsten ein wenig übertreiben auch wenn es nicht so ganz Luke und Lorelai Style ist. so langsam kommt doch ein gutes gefühl für die sechste in mir auf :biggrin:

Der Titel ist geil, LOL.... der Pate - hast du meinen Vater den Puppenspieler genannt? Und Rory, ja, selber schuld, sie kann auch nein zu Emily sagen. Außerdem *Grins* ich hab immer gesagt, dass Rory voll in die DAR involviert wir, mir wollte es nur nie einer glauben

Scene 1 -

ACT ONE

Scene 2 - Day 2 - Pool house bedroom, morning - RORY is in a candy stripers jumper, getting ready. The maid comes in with a rack and says that she's supposed to help Rory store her summer things. Rory gets a call from EMILY who is in Helsinki. Apparantly she and Richard are going to be delayed a few days. The maid continues to go through Rory's clothes.

Scene 3 -

Scene 4 - Night 3 - Rory is hosting some kind of DAR event at the GIlmore mansion. Museum curators have some replicas of portraits set up, all of George Washington.

Scene 5 - Night 3 - Gilmore House, Patio - Two DAR women are looking at the plants. They ask Rory about it, but she doesn't know the name. She says she'll ask her grandmother. Rory has garnish in her pocket and it falls out when she goes to get her notebook. She spots LOGAN approaching and looking a bit dour. Rory didn't know he was coming but is glad 'cause now she can show him off. Logan just says "Hey" to the ladies and doesn't take his hands out of his pockets. Rory excuses herself and Logan.

Scene 6 - Night 3 - Butlers Pantry - Rory offers Logan some coffee, he gets scotch. He isn't in a good mood. Rory sends Logan to wait for her in the pool house until the party is done (and hour and a half) and she takes care of the caterers and all that.

Die Wende wird erst mit Folge 11/12 rum kommen. Außerdem finde ich das alles gar ned so schlimm. Ich hoff, dass Lorelai vll Mal was draus lernt.

ich finde es auch richtig gut, dass Rory und Lorelai nicht viel miteinander zu tun haben. habe auch gelesen dass es Luke ist, der Rory von der Verlobung erzählt und sie ziemlich geknickt ist, dass sie es nicht von Lorelai erfährt.
Rory muss halt einfach lernen, dass man so nicht mit anderen umspringt und schon gar nicht mit der eigenen Mutter, die wirklich alles getan hat, alles aufgegeben hat für ihre Tochter. ich habe schon am anfang der 5. season gesagt, dass ich spätestens am ende der staffel Rory "hassen" werde und es ist eingetreten. ich kann Lorelai gut verstehen, denn sie hat es wirklich nicht verdient von Rory so behandelt zu werden. Rory ist so naiv und ja dumm - sie hat es einfach nicht anders verdient als dass Emily sie jetzt in ihre welt zieht. sie soll einfach mal am eigenem leib erfahren wovor Lorelai damals weggelaufen ist - warum Lorelai ihr reiches, verwöhntes leben aufgegeben hat. vielleicht versteht sie dann endlich, wovon Lorelai die ganzen jahre über gesprochen hat !
