Vorher hatten sich Rory und Paris noch unterhalten, wärend sie auf Lorelai und Sookie gewartet hatten. Da der Satz von Lorelay nichts mit dem Gespräche vorher zu tun hatte, habe ich mir erlaubt, den Teil wegzulassen

Damit spielt Sookie auf die Berge von Ramsch und Klamotten bei Lorelai zuhause an.

Rory spielt auf eine Star Trek Episode mit dem Namen “The Trouble with Tribbles” an, in welcher Lieutenant Uhura pelzige, kleine Geschöpfe names Tribbles geschenkt bekommt, welche in der Lage sind sich alle paar Stunden sich zu vermehren. Schon nach wenigen Tagen haben sie das Raumschiff überschwemmt.
Rory meint also, das ganze Zeug für den Wohltätigkeitsflohmarkt würde sich ebenso schnell vermehren wie diese Tribbles.

Rory meint also, sie verstünden sich schon so gut, dass Paris, Madlein und Louise den Plan, Rory am Abschlussball auch so zu demütigen, gecencellt hätten.
