Okayâ¦warten hat ein Ende! Hab ein richtiges schlechtes Gewissen, dass ich so lange nciht mehr geschrieben hab. Was ich zu meiner Verteidigung vorzubringen hab? Erst viel mir nichts ein, dann hab ich was geschrieben und wieder gelöscht weil mir ne bessere Idee gekommen ist⦠Ach dass was jetzt dabei rausgekommen ist finde ich auch nicht gerade perfekt, aber ich schätze (oder hoffe) es ist auch ganz annehmbarâ¦
Ich hoffe mit diesem Teil mach ich wieder gut, dass ich so lange nicht mehr geschrieben hab.
Zum Glück hab ich jetzt auch eine Idee und deswegen kommt jetzt vermutlich bald ein neuer Teil. (hoffe ich zumindestens)

âWasâ¦ist jetzt los?â Lorelai sah sich verunsichert um. Nervös befeuchtete sie die Lippen und schaute zu Kevin der angespannt rechts ran fuhr.
âWarum tust du das?â Lorelai flüsterte nur.
âDamit ich die anderen Autofahrer nicht behindere.â, antwortete Kevin knapp. Er hatte jetzt keine Zeit um Fragen zu beantworten - bald würde er vielleicht genug davon haben.
Eine Zeit lang blieben sie an der rechten Seite der Fahrbahn. Sie fuhren in langsamem Tempo weiter, stoppten jedoch nicht. Lorelai schaute nervös nach vorne. Sie kam sich so hilflos vor. Zu gern hätte sie was getan - doch sie wusste dass sie die anderen im Moment nur stören konnte. An Kevins Stimmung war dass mehr als sichtbar. Es war eine merkwürdige Art Kevin mal richtig kennen zu lernen. Zu mal es in so einer Situation unmöglich war ihn richtig einzuschätzen. Hin und wieder schaute sich Luke zu ihr um. Lorelai war sich nicht sicher was sein Blick zu bedeuten hatte, doch so wusste sie wenigstens, dass die anderen sie nicht vergessen hatten.
SchlieÃlich fuhr Kevin wieder auf die eigentliche Spur. Lorelai atmete erleichtert auf. Sie deutete das als gutes Zeichen. Auch Kevin schien auf einmal entspannter.
âOkayâ¦â, fing er langsam an. âEin paar Minuten werden wir vielleicht noch durchhaltenâ¦können Sie irgendwo eine Tankstelle entdecken?â
Lorelai reagierte sofort. Endlich etwas, was sie tun konnte! Aufmerksam schaute sie aus dem Fenster:â¦Endlose Leere! Enttäuscht lieà sie sich wieder etwas zurück sinken. Wie sollten sie in dieser Gegend eine Tankstelle finden? Hier waren sie anscheinend weit weg von einer Tankstelleâ¦und erst recht von einem Dorf oder einer kleinen Siedlung.
âHast du irgendwo einen Stadtplan?â, schaltete Luke sich dass erste Mal ein. Kevin deutete auf das Handschuhfach.
âDort müsste einer sein.â, meinte er und Luke nickte. Nach einer Weile fand er nach was er suchte und faltete den Plan auseinander.
âUnd?â Lorelai hatte eigentlich keine Hoffnung mehr, aber es war auf jeden Fall besser, zu wissen wo man das schrecklichste Sylvester aller Zeiten verbrachte. Luke studierte die Karte eine Weile. Es waren nur ein paar Sekunden, doch für Lorelai waren es die längsten Sekunden ihres gesamten Lebens.
âAlso ich hab wenigstens eine Vermutung wo wir sindâ¦â, fing Luke an und sein Blick schweifte nochmals über die Karte. âWenn wir dort sind wo ich denke, dann müsste ein paar Kilometer weiter ein kleines Kaff liegen.â
âUnd gibt es dort eine Tankstelle?â, fragte Lorelai aufgeregt.
âWoher soll ich dass wissen?â Luke schüttelte nur den Kopf. âAber wenn wir es bis dahin schaffen, könnten wir Hilfe holenâ¦oder wären zumindest nicht völlig verloren.â Kevin nickte zustimmend und konzentrierte sich wieder auf die StraÃe. Luke sah Lorelai zuversichtlich an. Seufzend sah sie wieder aus dem Fenster - mit einem klitzekleinen Funken Hoffnung.
Wieder verging eine endlose Zeit. Es war wie in einem Teufelskreis: Sie fuhren - ein Funken Hoffnung - sie fuhren weiter - der Funken wurde immer kleiner.
Lorelai wusste, dass es eigentlich gut war zu fahren - es war jedenfalls besser stehen zu bleiben. Doch so lange sie fuhren bestand immer noch die Möglichkeit, dass das Benzin endgültig ausging. Sie wusste noch nicht mal was sie eigentlich wollte. Einerseits wollte sie, dass sie eine Tankstelle fanden, so schnell wie möglich zum Inn fuhren und dann ein schönes Sylvester erlebten - ein HappyEnd! Andererseits wollte sie, dass das alles endlich vorbei war. Sogar um den Preis, dass sie hier - fern von aller Zivilisation - festsaÃen.
Wieder verging eine unendlich lange kurze Zeit. Der Funken war wieder einmal geschrumpft und Lorelai bekam immer mehr Hass. Hass auf sich, Hass auf Kevin, Hass auf das Auto, Hass auf das Benzin, Hass auf Sookie und Hass auf den blöden Koch, der jetzt längst nicht mehr im Land war. Sie war sich nicht sicher, woher dieser Hass kamâ¦Vielleicht sprach er einfach aus ihrer Verzweiflung oder ihrer Trauerâ¦Sie konnte nichts dagegen tun! Er war einfach daâ¦
So in Gedanken versunken, bemerkte sie gar nicht wie das Auto wieder langsamer wurde. Langsamer und langsamerâ¦Immer langsamer fuhr es und schlieÃlich fuhr es im Schneckentempo rechts ran.
Erst als sie fast standen fuhr Lorelai aus ihren Träumen hoch. Irritiert blinzelte sie und sah sich wieder um.
âBleiben wir jetztâ¦â Sie sprach nicht weiter. Sie wusste es auch so.
