Lorelai,
I'm sorry for everything I've said. And for anything I forgot to say, too. When things get so complicated I stumble at best muddle through. I wish that our lives could be simple, I don't want the world only you. Oh I wish I could tell you this face to face but there's never the time never the place. So this letter will have to do, I love you....
I’m really sorry and I wish I could turn back the time, but I can’t. I wish I could elope with you, marry you and just kiss you. I know, it was a big mistake to postpone the wedding for so long without really talking about it. When I think about what could’ve been, it breaks my heart to know that it’s not like that anymore. June 3rd has passed me by and I didn’t see you. I know, I shouldn’t have used April as an excuse to postpone the wedding. Actually it’s from the point of view only my fault. If I hadn’t separated you from April and me, to get to her better myself all of this might’ve not happened. I would never demand anything from you, you know that. And yet I did do that. I know, you surely hate me now, but what can I do? I can’t turn back the time, I can’t undo what happened. And I can’t tell you how sorry I am, cause you’re not here.
When I first saw you, I saw love. And the first time you touched me, I felt love. And after all this time, you're still the one I love. Looks like we made it, look how far we've come my baby. We mighta took the long way, We knew we'd get there someday. They said, "I bet they'll never make it." But just look at us holding on, we're still together still going strong. I'm glad we didn't listen, look at what we would be missin'. They said, "I bet they'll never make it." But just look at us holding on, we're still together still going strong. I don’t know how many mistakes I have made. But I made a lot. Mistakes which are unforgivable. Lorelai, every day, really each and every day I sit on the doorsteps of you house and wait for you. Although you’re not here I can feel at that one place that you’re with me. I don’t know how much time it takes until the letter will be in your hands, but I want you to know one thing.
If I could undo anything that happened I would. If we could start over again, I would. I would do anything for you, you know that. But I can’t help it. You know I’m just me and I do make mistakes. I’m sorry. I hope, one day youo’ll forgive me. I hope, we’ll see each other again. I hope we’ll love each other again.
