Oh, danke für das liebe FB!!
Hier kommt ein neuer Teil. Ich hoffe er gefällt euch.
âOkay, jetzt reichts, was soll das hier?â Endlich hatte Lorelai die Frage rausgebracht. Nachdem sie zehn Minuten schweigend beim Essen verbracht hatten, hatte sie endlich gesagt, was sie die ganze Zeit beschäftigte. Emily schaute sie erstaunt an.
âWas meinst du?â
âAlso Mr Danes, was arbeiten sie denn?â, fragte Richard, als hätte er das Gespräch von Lorelai und Emily nicht gehört.
âHallo, Dad? Hast du mich nicht gehört?â, sagte Lorelai.
âLuke!â, sagte Luke.
âWas?â, fragte Richard
âLuke, nennen sie mich Luke!â, sagte Luke.
âHört ihr mir noch zu?â, unterbrach Lorelai die Beiden. Doch wieder ging keiner auf sie ein.
âGutâ¦Luke? Was machen sie denn so?â
âIch leite ein sehr gut laufendes Café.â Lorelai hatte aufgegeben sich in das Gespräch einzumischen und seufzte jetzt nur erleichert auf. Wenigstens wusste Luke wie er sich bei ihren Eltern, auszudrücken hatte.
âEin Café? Ach ja, ich erinnere mich. Interessant!â
âJa, allerdings.â
âUnd sie leiten es?â
âJaâ¦ich habe es von meinem Vater übernommen. Das heiÃt, es war früher ein Werkzeugladen, aber ich habe alles so gelassen wie es ist.â
âDas klingt, als würden sie ihren Vater mögen.â
âJa, das tue ich.â
âIch würde ihn gern mal kennen lernen. Wie heiÃt er?â
âErâ¦ähmâ¦ist tot!â
âOh, das tut mir Leid.â
âDanke sehr.â
âEr würde sich bestimmt freuen, wenn er hören würde, wie sehr ihn sien Sohn würdigt.â
âEr würde mich für einen Idioten halten.â, antwortete Luke, wie schon einmal im Krankenhaus bei Emily. Lorelai zog hörbar die Luft ein. Was würde ihr Vater zu dieser Antwort sagen? Doch Richard schien nicht weiter verärgert.
âNun, nicht alle Väter sind gleich.â
âGanz Recht.â, sagte Luke und sah Lorelai verwundert an, die unruhig auf ihrem Stuhl hin und her rutschte. Luke und ihr Vater verstanden sich! Sie wusste nich was sie davon halten sollte. Eigentlich musste sie sich freuen, das wusste sie, aberâ¦sie konnte es nicht.
âUnd seit wann sind sie mit meiner Tochter zusammen?â, fragte Emliy im eigenartigem Tonfall. Luke sah noch einmal verwirrt zu Lorelai.
âIchâ¦weià nicht was sie meinen.â
âMom? Kann ich dich sprechen?â, fragte Lorelai drängend. Jetzt reichte es!
âLorelai ich unterhalte mich gerade!â
âEs ist sehr wichtig.â
âIch denke nichts kann so wichtig sein wie -â
âMom!â
âNa gut.â, sagte Emily und stand auf. âSie entschuldigen uns.â, sagte sie zu Richard und Luke und nickte Lorelai zu. Sie gingen in die Küche.
âAlso? Was gibt es so wichtiges, dass du mich vom Gespräch mit deinem Freund abhältst?â
âOh Gott! Ich fasse es nicht, du glaubst es wirklich!â
âWas soll ich glauben?â
âDas Luke und ich zusammen sind!â
âAber das seit ihr doch auch!â
âNein! Um Himmels Willen, nein! Wir sind nur Freunde!â, schrie Lorelai fast.
âNur Freunde?â
âJa!â
âAber ihr habt euch doch umarmt!â
âNa und?! Das tun Freunde nur mal, wenn sie sich mögen!â Jetzt schrie sie wirklich.
âDann seit ihr nicht -?â
âNein!â
âIhr seit nur -?â
âJa!â
âDann habe ich falsch -â
âJa!â
âOhâ
âJa oh!.â
âDann befinden wir uns in einer peinlichen Situation.â
âJa.â Lorelai fasste es nicht, das sie Emily sogar in so einem Fall, so gewählt audrückte. âMum?â, fragte sie.
âJa?â
âWarum dachtest du, dass ich und Luke zusammen sind?â, fragte sie. Emily lächelte.
âIch dachte, weil er dich so ansiehtâ¦weil du ihn so ansiehstâ¦ihr euch umarmt habtâ¦â Emily fand nicht die richtigen Worte. âSeit Jahren sah es so aus als ob ihrâ¦schon als ich ihn das erste Mal gesehen habe, wusste ichâ¦ich dachte jetzt wäre es passiert.â Lorelai runzelte die Stirn. Was gab ihre Mutter da eigentlich von sich? Sie verstand nicht.
âWas passiert?â
âDass ihr - Nein lassen wir das. Ihr solltet jetzt gehen!â
âWas? Gehen?â
âJa, das ist die einfachste Möglichkeit!â
âGehen? Wir sollen gehen?â, fragte Lorelai noch einm al.
âJa!â
âDu meinst richtig aus dem Haus?â
âNatürlich meine ich aus dem Haus!â
âWir machen die Tür auf, steigen in das Auto und - gehen?â
âJa!â
âOkayâ, sagte Lorelai langgezogen. Gehen?! Lorelai setzte sich langsam in Bewegung. als sie Emilys Stimme hinter sich hörte.
âEr ist sehr nett.â, sagte sie und klang dabei fürsorglich und ernst. Lorelai lächelte.
âJa, das ist er!â
