Interview with Pete Wentz (Bass Guitar):

BG: (...) How did you become an "emo" band?
PW: I think it´s one of those "grass is always greener" kind of things. I always played in heavy bands, so when the chance came to play music that had more melody and softer parts, I thought, Why not? The fact that we come from disparate musical backgrounds probably makes us, you know, kind of unique.
BG: Did you have the change your playing style when you switched from hardcore to emo?
PW: A little bit. The hardcore stuff was all about fast picking. To play the music that we do has forced me to try to be a better bassist. Now I´m not able to hide my mistakes as much. We still play hard, but there´s more finesse and nuances, so I have to be precise.

Ein sehr interessantes Interview, ich kanns nur empfehlen zu lesen. Und sie sind Emo. Siehe oben. Auch wenn das einige immer noch nicht wahrhaben wollen...

Das Video zu "Thnks fr th mmrs" finde ich ganz witzig. Zuerst hab ichs fad gefunden, aber jetzt mag ichs total gerne!
