Hm, ich dachte eher, dass Chilton eine protestantische Schule sein könnte, und die Lutheraner spartanischer leben (Haferbrei mampfen) als die lebensbejahenden Katholiken mit ihrer Völlerei.

Es hieß mal, Lorelai sei auf eine katholische Schule gegangen. Genaue Quellen hab ich derzeit nicht.

Also nicht Chilton=british und Briten=Haferbrei, sondern Chilton=protestantisch und Protestanten=Haferbrei.
Dass british=protestantisch, sehe ich eher als Nebeneffekt. Sind die Menschen in CN überhaupt so britenbegeistert? Taylor doch zum Beispiel nicht.

If Lorelai went to a Catholic high school, that would mean it could not have been Chilton. I don't know if it's ever mentioned where she goes except for that one flashback episode where we see Young Chris and Lorelai in maroon/burgundy uniforms.
