Der Rentner, für den die Party geschmissen wird, hat als Thema schon Tibet (dafür Bilder von Gere an die Wand) und Kentucky Derby vorgeschalgen.

Adrian Zmed  ist ein rumänisch-amerikanischer Filmschauspieler.  Er spielte in Grease 2 und den Officer Vince Romano in der TVSerie T.J. Hooker. Er spielte in einigen TV-Shows mit, die aber alle nach ein bis zwei Staffeln abgesetzt wurden. Er moderierte zwei Jahre die Dance-Fever-Show.

Laut Lore machen Menschen seltsame Dinge für Geld, so hat es Zmed seine ganze Karriere gemacht.

The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast is a NBC television special show hosted by entertainer Dean Martin from 1974 to 1984. For a series of 54 specials and shows, Martin would periodically “roast” a celebrity. These roasts were patterned after the roasts held at the New York Friars' Club in New York City. Lyndon Baines Johnson (* 27. August 1908 in Stonewall, Texas; † 22. Januar 1973 ebenda), oft mit LBJ abgekürzt, war von 1963 bis 1969 der 36. Präsident der Vereinigten Staaten. Er gehörte der Demokratischen Partei an und amtierte bereits von 1961 bis 1963 unter John F. Kennedy als Vizepräsident. 948 gelang ihm der Sprung in den Senat, nachdem er daran 1941 noch hauchdünn gescheitert war. Allerdings war dieser Senatswahl eine höchst kontroverse innerparteiliche Vorwahl vorausgegangen, bei der vermutlich ebenfalls Betrug im Spiel war und die er nur mit 87 Stimmen Vorsprung für sich entscheiden konnte. Dies trug ihm lange Zeit den Spitznamen „Landslide (Erdrutsch) Lyndon“ ein.[5] Im Senat erwies er sich jedoch als äußerst effizienter Parlamentarier und erlangte ab 1953 als Führer der demokratischen Fraktion (ab 1955 als Majority Leader) ein Maß an Bedeutung und Einfluss, das eigentlich weit über dieses Amt hinaus ging. Peter Paul „Paulie Walnuts“ Gualtieri
ein Capo in der DiMeo-Familie, ist schon sehr lange Mitglied der Familie. Er gehörte bereits dazu, als Tonys Vater noch Capo war. Paulie Gualtieri verbindet mit Tony und Silvio eine lange Freundschaft. Sein Temperament verleitet ihn häufig zu unüberlegten Handlungen, welche mitunter zu großen Problemen für die Familie führen können. Trotzdem gehört Paulie zu den angesehensten Personen der DiMeo-Familie.

His actions, however misguided they may seem, stem from his admiration for her, as it is later revealed he was also her first husband.

Pete the Pup was a Pit Bull character in Hal Roach's Our Gang comedies (later known as The Little Rascals) during the 1920s and 1930s. Otherwise known as "Pete, the Dog With the Ring Around His Eye", or simply "Petey", he was well known for having a circled eye that was added on by Hollywood make-up artist Max Factor[1] and credited as an oddity in Ripley's Believe It or Not. Lord Jim ist ein Roman von Joseph Conrad, erstpubliziert in Blackwood's Magazine im Jahr 1900. Der Roman gliedert sich in zwei Teile, eine psychologische Erzählung über Jims moralischen Fehler an Bord des Pilgerschiffs “Patna” und in eine Abenteuer-Geschichte über Jims Aufstieg und Niedergang unter den Leuten von Patusan, einem Eingeborenenstaat irgendwo in Ostindien bzw. Südostasien. Einige Kritiker sagten, dass der zweite Teil schlechter als der erste sei, aber er ist notwendig, um das psychologische Drama auszuarbeiten, das im ersten Teil seinen Anfang nimmt:

Columbo ist eine amerikanische Krimiserie von Richard Levinson und William Link, die in den USA regelmäßig von 1971 bis 1978 ausgestrahlt wurde - und zwischen 1989 und 2003 als abendfüllende Fernsehfilmreihe.
Hauptdarsteller war Peter Falk als Lieutenant Columbo (in der deutschsprachigen Synchronisation als Inspektor Columbo), der bei der Mordkommission des Los Angeles Police Department arbeitete. Steven Bochco war Autor vieler Folgen.

Aufgrund der streng religiösen Erziehung seiner Eltern floh Scott Stapp als Jugendlicher von zu Hause. Seine religiöse Erziehung und seine bisherige Erfahrung mit dem Christsein beschäftigten ihn auch in der Zeit danach sehr, was sich in verschiedenen Texten von Creed widerspiegelt (zum Beispiel „My Own Prison“, „Faceless Man“). Während die älteren Texte ein großes Ringen um die persönliche Haltung zum Glauben durchscheinen lassen, wirken einige jüngere Texte deutlich zuversichtlicher und insgesamt positiver. Creed selbst bezeichneten sich nie als christliche Band, sondern vielmehr als Band, die sich mit dem Thema auseinandersetzt und in der jeder einzelne eine persönliche Stellung zum Glauben hat. Die teilweise gegebene Darstellung der Medien, dass es sich bei Creed definitiv um eine christliche Band handele, wird von der Band selbst also bestritten, wenn sie auch nicht völlig abwegig erscheint. Interessant ist in diesem Zusammenhang auch der Bandname, der auf Deutsch mit „Glaubensbekenntnis“ übersetzt werden kann. Sänger Scott Stapp bekannte sich nach der Zeit mit Creed eindeutig zum Christentum, was sich auch an den Texten seines Soloprojekts deutlich zeigt. Bei Alter Bridge sind zum Teil ebenfalls Referenzen erkennbar, wenn auch in wesentlich begrenzterem Umfang.

Amy Lee Grant (* 25. November 1960 in Augusta, Georgia, USA) ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin und Liedermacherin. Sie war anfangs besonders im Bereich der christlichen Popmusik äußerst erfolgreich und ist bekannt als eine der ersten „Contemporary Christian Music“-Künstlerinnen, die den Sprung in den weltlichen bzw. Mainstream-Popmusik-Markt geschafft hat.

Phillip „Phil“ Calvin McGraw ist ein US-amerikanischer Psychologe und  Fernsehmoderator.  Er wurde durch seine Auftritte bei der Ophra Winfrey  Show berühmt und bekam eine eigene Show, Dr. Phil,  in der er  über seine Erfahrung in der klinischen Psychologie spricht. Er wurde zum  "beliebtesten Ami" gewählt & ist sehr erfolgreich.

Luke will Jess erklären, wie man Mädchen behandelt. Jess nennt ihn Dr. Phil.
