RORY'S TWENTY-FIRST BIRTHDAY/FORMER SECRETARY OF STATE MADELEINE ALBRIGHT APPEARS IN A CAMEO ROLE - As Rory's (Alexis Bledel) twenty-first birthday approaches, both Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory are saddened by the fact that their ongoing estrangement will keep them from spending the day the way they had always planned. Richard (Edward Herrmann) tries to convince Lorelai to help him with a plan to get Rory back to Yale, but Lorelai insists that Rory has to make the decision herself. While Richard continues to worry about Rory's future, Emily (Kelly Bishop) throws herself into planning an elaborate birthday party. Meanwhile, Emily and Richard are shocked when they realize that Rory and Logan (Matt Czuchry) have been having sex. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright appears in a cameo role. Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Keiko Agena and Liza Weil also star. Bob Berlinger directed the episode written by Amy Sherman-Palladino

Was mich am brennensten interessiert, ist ja (Da Emily bei dieser Konversation auch anwesend ist), ob wir endlich erfahren werden ob Emilys Ship auch vor ihrer Heirat davongesegelt ist *G*

Reverend Boatwright – Page 35, 37-39, scenes 15-16. Rory is at the mansion for dinner, as it appears she does not eat with them on a regular basis. She was formally invited by Emily. The Reverend is sitting in Lorelai’s usual place at dinner. He starts talking to Rory about sex, and how her virtue (virginity lol) is a precious gift she can only give to one man. Rory tells him that that ship sailed a long time ago, and is probably in Fiji right now. She then tells him that he might like the movie, “The 40 Year Old Virgin.”
Shelby – Page 47. Act Four. Day six. Scenes 22 and 23. Rory and Lorelai are lying in their respective beds, each of them staring up at the ceiling in the dark, as their clocks strike 4:04 – the minute Rory was born. Lorelai is in her bed, yet in the living room. Perhaps the hole is not fixed.
Scene 24 – Night 6 – Rory’s party at the Gilmore Mansion. It is the beginning of the party, and Richard is not there, leaving Emily to take care of it herself. Shelby and Martin, a couple at the party, run into Emily and after greeting them, Emily mutters to herself about them. She sees more guests, and yells at the maid, Mai Mai, for not answering the door on time. Rory comes down the stairs in a pretty semiformal dress, but is still in a “mood.”
Bartender – Page 52. Scene 24. The Gilmore Mansion – Rory’s party. Rory and Logan are hanging out with Lane and Zack. The bartender gives them 2 “Rory’s” (a special drink for the night)
Marion & Katherine – Page 64, scene 29. Luke and Lorelai are talking about martinis and sushi. Lorelai wonders where Richard is. Marion and Katherine, women from the DAR, come over to talk to Lorelai about Rory. They tell her they are friends of Rory’s and that they love her. Luke asks what the DAR is, and then goes to get a beer. We find out that Paris is now the editor of the Yale Daily News.
Tweenie – Page 67, scene 30. Luke and Rory are alone, and he is giving her her birthday gift. It’s a small aged jewelry box, with a necklace inside – a delicate gold chain with a diamond and pearl pendant. Rory is stunned, and Luke tells her that Liz can’t wear it because her neck is too fat. He says how it was just sitting there, and he thought, “Hey why not give it to Rory.” Rory gives him a huge hug, and in a very touched way, says thank you. A woman from the DAR, Tweenie, comes running over to find out what the gift was. Rory shows her, and then tells her it is from Luke, her step-father to be (aww!) and Luke is taken aback by this. He asks what the DAR is again. It goes into scene 31, where Emily and Lorelai are talking. Emily hopes that Luke hasn’t gotten lost, and Lorelai says something about Luke stealing, which Emily calls her on.
Claire – Page 69. Scene 31. Lorelai and Emily are talking. Emily is saying that Luke might have gotten lost in the house, and Lorelai seems to get upset. She tells her that he went to get a beer, and Emily is staring at Lorelai’s engagement ring. She tells her “congratulations are in order.” Claire – the caterer – comes up to Emily and tells her it is time to cut the cake. She says that Richard is locked up in the office, sulking.

ich freu mich jetzt schon auf die Szene mit den Reverend und auf die mit Luke auf der Party.
Emilys Reaktion auf das "The ship has sailed" kommentar interessiertmich brennend, vorallem (wie riska schon gesagt hat) würds micvh interessieren wie's bei ihr war.

Ich find's vor allem klasse, dass sie das mit 4 Uhr 04 aus Rory's Birthdays Paries aufgreifen, denn oft gehen solche Sachen leider irgendwie verloren
