SpoilerDie Mehrheit aber anscheinend schon. Seit Shonda dieses Spiel mit den beiden spielt, sind die Quoten abgefallen. "Kaum jemand" hat sich das Finale von S3 angesehen, weil es einen einfach ankotzt, dass Shonda die beiden trotz offensichtlicher gegenseitiger Zuneigung (ich sag nur S2) nicht völlig zusammenkommen und glücklich werden lässt.
Natürlich soll es realistisch bleiben. Aber hallo? Wie realistisch ist es bitte, 2 Menschen, bei denen die Funken fliegen wenn sich ihre Blicke nur streifen (thanks to Ellen & Patrick), trotzdem zu trennen, weil es ja nicht sein kann, dass ALLE IMMER glücklich sind...!?!?! Aber ich frage mich... wer zum Henker ist in dieser Serie bis jetzt glücklich geworden??? Let me see... Meredith und Derek ja schonmal nicht, obwohl es seit Folge 1 mehr als nur knistert. Izzie und Alex? EhEh. Izzie und Denny? EhEh. Mark und Addi? EhEh. George und Callie? EhEh. Cristina und Burke? EhEh. Mama Burke? EhEh. Richard und Adele? EhEh. Äääähm... Doc? EhEh. Dylan? EhEh. Get the point?

Es ist nicht zu leugnen, dass Meredith und Derek als Paar die Zugpferde der Serie sind. Soll Shonda meinetwegen weiter versuchen, realistisch zu sein... Ich hab da keine Lust drauf.

Instead of airing the second part of that episode (#10) the following week, ABC is expected to repeat the season premiere on November 29. Episode #10 would then air on December 6 and beyond that point the show would go into repeats. In any event, there will be no new episodes of "Grey's Anatomy" after Christmas, unless the strike is resolved quickly.

Also throwing their support behind the writers is the Grey's Anatomy trifecta of Katherine Heigl, Sandra Oh and T.R. Knight. They took to the picket line Wednesday afternoon at Los Angeles' Prospect Studios, where their dramedy is filmed. Series creator and writer Shonda Rhimes has already stated that she has stopped writing new episodes and is refusing to edit those that have already been shot.

"I absolutely believed that I would edit our episode until a thought hit me: How can I walk a picket line and then continue to essentially work?" she wrote in an industry-circulated email. "How am I supposed to look at myself in the mirror...and know that I did not have the courage of my convictions to stand up and put myself more at risk than anyone else?"
