Ich hab dazu nichts gefunden, ich denke es ist nur ein Wortspiel. Vorher sagt sie ja "hold your horses". Ich glaube Lorelai sagt daraufhin auch, dass man in Yale bestimmt einen intelligenteren Humor erwartet, dass es also nur ein blöder Spruch war. Oder was meint ihr?

Ist ein rLiedermacher, war in den 70ern einer der bedeutensten neben Joni Mitchell und James Taylor (kenn ich alle von meiner Mom, sind toll ). Macht Rock/Hippie/Folk Musik.

ich glaub nicht, dass das Spiel gemeint ist, hat doch keinen Bezug, oder?

Ich hab bei "big kahuna" noch das hier gefunden, ein Film:

Da wird ein Typ als "The big Kahuna" (ein dicker Fisch) bezeichnet. Das würde doch passen? So wie der Essay auch "ein dicker Fisch", also etwas sehr wichtiges ist.
