The Lost Weekend ist ein Film, der die Geschichte eines Langzeit-Alkoholikers Don erzählt . Freunde von ihm planen ein gemeinsames Wochenende auf dem Land. Am Vorabend der Abreise gelingt es Don, die beiden aus dem Haus zu schicken. Allein und ohne Geld zu Hause, ist er darauf versessen, etwas zu trinken zu bekommen.

Yoko Ono war mit Ex-Beatle John Lennon verheiratet. Im Oktober ließ Lennon sich wegen Eheproblemen auf eine zeitweilige Trennung von Ono ein. Diese Zeit der Trennung bezeichnete John später als „Lost Weekend“.

Sookie soll Lore erklären, warum Run immenroch da ist, obwohl es hieß er würde nur für ein Wochenende bleiben. Sookie meint, das Wochende von Jackson und Run war Sauf/Männerwochenende gedacht [Anspielung auf den Film]. Daraufhin wirft Lore „Yoko“ ein, wegen des Lost Weekends.

Boo Radley ist ein Charakter in dem Buch “ To Kill a Mockingbird”. Darin geht es um die Kindheit der Jean Louise, genannt Scout. Boo Radley ist deren mysteriöser Nachbar. Boo ist das ganze Buch über als der Böse dargestellt, die Kinder haben Angst vor ihm. Er ist irgendwie gruselig und mysteriös.

Lorelai vergleicht Rune mit Boo Radley, weil er so ein seltsamer Typ ist. Er ist Lorelai total unsymphatisch / unheimlich , so wie Boo den Kindern.[FONT=&quot]
